Taking Care of Yourself & Others During The Pandemic

Whether you’re feeling the effects of climate anxiety, the ongoing restrictions in Hong Kong, or just the general stress of everything that’s happening right now in the world, there’s no need to go through it alone.

Here at 8Shades, we’re just as much about mental health and wellness as we are about sustainability. After all, how can we take care of the planet if we’re not taking care of ourselves? If you find yourself feeling blue, here are some mental health resources in Hong Kong that can help with stress and anxiety – and ways for you to reach out and help others:

Mind HK

At least one in seven people in Hong Kong will experience a mental health problem, according to Mind HK, a registered charity in Hong Kong that’s working to fight the stigma against this very important issue.

Besides running public campaigns and events, they’ve created a free Covid-19 Mental Health Self Help Guide along with other Mind HK for more resources on managing your mental health during these trying times, including virus outbreaks and quarantine.
